Zephyr Real Estate placed at No. 96 on the Mega 1000 rankings by T3 Sixty, residential real estate industry’s leading consulting and analytics firm. Rank is determined from data using U.S.-only sales volume, with additional sorting by transaction sides and agent count. Zephyr’s sales volume was over $2.4 billion, with 1,855 sides and 330 agents.
T3 Sixty’s roots date back to 1998 when RealSure, Inc. (T3 Sixty’s forerunner) was incorporated by Stefan Swanepoel. T3 Sixty was officially formed in 2015, and was immediately commissioned by the National Association of Realtors to conduct a thorough study of the residential real estate industry. Swanepoel and T3 Sixty reports and rankings have received much acclaim and several awards for their effectiveness and reliability.
“The residential real estate brokerage industry is in a massive period of flux,” said T3 Sixty CEO and Mega 1000 editor-in-chief Stefan Swanepoel. “The Mega 1000, the industry’s most accurate, comprehensive and thorough annual ranking of real estate companies, clearly illustrates the change and allows existing brokerage companies to plan accordingly.”
“The incumbents are still going strong, but newcomers, fueled by eye-popping amounts of investor capital, are changing the entire traditional real estate paradigm,” he added. “It’s as exciting as it is head-spinning. We will continue to track and analyze this evolution closely.”
Zephyr Real Estate has repeatedly proven its mettle for over 40 years in the face of a variety of market fluctuations, the rise and fall of inventory and the invasiveness of enormous corporate brokerages. Still independent, Zephyr remains a forerunner in setting the pace and raising the bar for real estate excellence in the Bay Area.
“The Zephyr team has demonstrated again and again that great things can be accomplished with energy, drive, talent and camaraderie,” commented Randall Kostick, President and CEO of Zephyr. “Our team is our secret weapon.”
