Randall Kostick | President / Chief Executive Officer
Randall joined Zephyr in 1986. He became a Sales Manager for the Noe Valley office in 1998, and an ownership partner in the firm in 2000. Randall holds an M.B.A. from the University of Hawaii Graduate School of Business and a CRB certification from the Real Estate Brokerage Managers Council. He served for six years as a Director for the San Francisco Association of Realtors® and spent four years on its Executive Board.
William Drypolcher | Founding Broker
Owner and founder of Zephyr Real Estate, Bill became a REALTOR® Broker in 1975 and founded Zephyr in 1978. Named “REALTOR® of the Year” in 1986, he served as President of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® in 1987. He also served on the Mayor’s Housing Task Force and was a Commissioner of the San Francisco Housing Authority from 1990 – 1993. Bill frequently testifies as an expert witness in real estate litigation matters.
Steve De La Peña | Vice President of Strategic Services
Steve De La Pena entered real estate management in 1987 when he felt compelled to make home buying and selling a safe and fun place for all participants, including the agents! His aim is to create an environment where agents can realize their full potential, and clients can depend on the professionalism and integrity of their agent. Steve joined Zephyr in 2012 as a natural evolution of his commitment to seek out the best and most professional real estate atmosphere.
Matthew Borland | Chief Operating Officer / Managing Broker: Upper Market, West Portal, and Potrero Hill
Matthew joined Zephyr in 2004. He served as the 2006 President of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS®, and is also a Director for the California Association of REALTORS®. Matthew has been a guest speaker on real estate technology and marketing related topics for various industry events and remains a leader in organized real estate.
Jenn Pfeiffer | Managing Broker: Greenbrae (Marin County)
Jenn joined Zephyr Real Estate in 2015. Prior to becoming Marin’s sales manager, Jenn worked in the industry for 20 years as a real estate agent. Her passion for assisting agents, both new and experienced, with taking their business to the next level is an integral part of her office’s success. Jenn is a true mentor, coach and trainer who spends her time thoughtfully preparing agents for what’s to come. Her experiences buying and selling her own properties have provided her strong connections throughout the industry.
Michael Barnacle | Managing Broker: Pacific Heights
Michael, who has been with Zephyr since 2013, brings a wealth of experience and energy to his role as manager of the Pacific Heights office. Prior to joining Zephyr, he was with a brokerage in Boston and has been in the business since 1989. His reputation and connections across the country have continued with and contributed to his success in San Francisco. His background also includes sales, marketing and customer service in the financial industry both nationally and internationally.
Marcia Thomas | Managing Broker: Noe Valley
Marcia started her career in the real estate industry working in the escrow and title business. In 1983, she began representing buyers and sellers and, in 1986, she helped open and establish Zephyr Real Estate’s Noe Valley office. Marcia has been a part of the Zephyr management team since 1998, beginning as the assistant sales manager before moving into the role of managing broker. With over 30 years of experience working at the company, Marcia is one of the pillars at Zephyr.
Christine Lopatowski | Managing Broker: Noe Valley
Christine joined Zephyr Real Estate in 2005. With a background in executive sales management, she understands the importance of strong client service, problem-solving and negotiating. Christine first experienced managing in Zephyr’s Potrero Hill Office as the assistant sales manager before bringing her expertise and connections to the Noe Valley office.
